Step 1: Registration & Vetting
1. Submit Your Application
- Fill in the online pre-registration form, including your ticket option you would like to opt for.
- We are committed to protecting your personal information in accordance with the Protection of Personal
Information Act, 2013 (POPIA).

We collect and process personal information only where it is necessary and lawful, including for:

- Communication before, during, and after events
- Payment processing and invoicing
- Access control, name badges, and check-in

Your information will be used solely for the purposes for which it was collected and will not be sold or shared with
third parties except where required to:

- Deliver our services (e.g. registration platforms, payment providers)
- Comply with legal or regulatory obligations

We take appropriate technical and organisational measures to safeguard personal information against:

- Loss, misuse, unauthorised access
- Disclosure, alteration, or destruction
4. Retention of Information
Personal information is retained only for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes outlined above or as required by

2. Vetting Process
- The organisers review all applications to ensure a balanced mix of professionals, decision-makers, associations, and partners.
- Students and NGO applicants will need to provide supporting documentation.

Step 2: Payment Process

2. Confirming Your Payment
- Once payment is received, our team will verify it and confirm your ticket via email 24 – 48 business hours.
3. Payment Deadlines & Follow-Ups
- Please make your payment within 24-48 hours of receiving your approval email.
- If payment isn’t received in time, your registration will be automatically cancelled, and your seat released.

Refund Policy
We comply fully with the Consumer Protection Act (CPA) of South Africa.
1. Event Registrations & Services
- All registrations are subject to a vetting and approval process.
- Once a registration has been approved and payment has been made, the booking is considered confirmed.
2. Cancellation & Refunds
- No refunds will be issued for cancellations or non-attendance once payment has been received, unless required by law.
- If the event is cancelled by the organiser, a full refund will be issued.
3. Substitutions
- Delegate substitutions are not permitted.
4. Online & Distance Sales
- Where applicable, online purchases may be cancelled within 7 days in accordance with the Electronic Communications and
Transactions Act (ECTA), provided no services have yet been rendered.
5. Consumer Protection Act Compliance
- Nothing in this policy limits your rights under the Consumer Protection Act (CPA).
- Refunds will be processed within a reasonable timeframe and via the original payment method.
