Welcome to Smart Health Africa (“Smart Health”, “we”, “our”, “us”). These Terms and Conditions govern your use of our website, smarthealthsummit.com (“the Site”). By accessing or using the Site, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site. Smart Health Africa is an event and community platform operated by The Rebel Element (Pty) Ltd. The Site provides information, content, event details and access to request ticket purchase links. All secure payments take place outside the Site.

The Site exists to share Smart Health Africa updates, insights, event information, partner content and community material.
Users do not need to create an account to browse the Site.
If you would like to purchase a ticket, you may complete an interest form on the Site. A secure, external payment link may then be sent to you by our team.

No payments or transactions occur directly on the Site.
Ticket interest forms allow us to contact you through a secure, external payment link.
A 5-day cooling-off period applies from the time the secure payment link is issued, in accordance with the Electronic Communications and Transactions Act.
Ticket availability is subject to capacity and final confirmation.

You agree not to:
use the Site for unlawful or harmful purposes interfere with or disrupt the Site attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Site or our systems bypass or tamper with security features

All content on the Site including text, graphics, video, event details, design and branding — belongs to or is licensed by The Rebel Element (Pty) Ltd and is protected by South African and international intellectual property law.
You may not use, copy, modify, distribute or reproduce any content without written consent.

The Site displays logos and branding of partners, sponsors and supporting organisations. These logos remain the property of their respective owners and are shown with permission.
You may not copy, reuse or reproduce these logos without the relevant owner’s written approval.

The Site may include links to external websites, payment platforms or partner pages. We do not control these sites and are not responsible for their content, accuracy, security or policies. You visit third-party sites at your own risk.

The Site and its content are provided for general information only, on an “as is” basis.
While we make reasonable efforts to ensure accuracy, we do not guarantee completeness, reliability or uninterrupted availability.
Event details, speakers, partners or programme items may change.

To the extent permitted by South African law:
We are not liable for any indirect, consequential, incidental, special or punitive damages arising from your use of the Site.
Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under South African law.

Our separate Privacy Policy explains how we collect, store and process personal information in line with POPIA. By using the Site or submitting a ticket interest form, you agree to the processing described in the Privacy Policy.

We may update these Terms from time to time. Updated versions will appear on this page with a new effective date. Continued use of the Site means you accept the updated Terms.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa.
Any disputes will be handled by South African courts.
